Founded in 2018 by Victor “DJ Future” Wells, Kerneil Wells, and Jason “Firestorm” Bevans, Synthdicate Music was created to redefine independent music production. DJ Future teamed up with his cousin Kerneil Wells and longtime collaborator Jason Bevans to establish Synthdicate Music as an LLC and a dynamic record label.

Hailing from the vibrant musical landscape of Trinidad and Tobago, Victor “DJ Future” Wells is a seasoned artist, producer, and entrepreneur whose career spans decades. His journey began at age 15 as a DJ, quickly evolving into production by 1999, where he contributed to the Reggae, Soca, Hip-Hop, and R&B genres. In 2008, DJ Future brought his unique Caribbean sound to the United States. Two years later, he became an integral part of Ahtik Studio Production in Queens, New York. His significant contributions to the Soca scene during this time include producing for renowned artists like Young Voice, Yankee Boy, Lyrikal, and Mr. Killa. The year 2018 marked a pivotal moment with the establishment of Synthdicate Music, a testament to his vision and leadership, bringing together a talented collective of producers, artists, and songwriters. DJ Future's multifaceted talent extends beyond the production booth; he has also garnered recognition as an artist. His releases include the 2010 track “De Wuk” on the Bonanza Riddim, “Downtown Nice,” and his 2018 hit “Stick-up.”
Bio: Wellz
Born from the rhythmic heart of Trinidad & Tobago, Wellz began a monumental musical journey at age four on the Steelpan and African drums. A touring prodigy and cultural ambassador by twelve, they shifted focus to production, mentored by Victor Wells aka Djfuture. Quickly establishing themselves as a prolific beat-maker, they crafted influential tracks for giants like Kerwin Du Bois, Lyrikal, Capleton, and Busy Signal, Fayann Lyons etc . Now, driven by a desire to convey their own narrative, Wellz steps out from behind the board, transforming production mastery into a compelling new path as a recording artist.
Bio: Jahson Firestorm
Professionally known as Jahson/Firestorm, Jason launched his career as a DJ and producer in Tampa, Florida. In 1999, the Belizean DJ under the alias Selecta Cannon, built a reputation professionally DJing at clubs and school parties, while attending the University of South Florida. His style was deeply influenced by mentor Kirky-C of Poisondart Soundsystem, whose local record store served as a key source for his music. By 2002, his focus shifted to the studio, making his first beats along with a college friend on his Yamaha Motif 8 keyboard, marking the beginning of his successful music production career.
Driven by a passion for music production, he embarked on a pivotal journey to Kingston, Jamaica in 2004. This trip was prompted by a personal invitation from reggae artist Bugle who, after a concert, was captivated by his innovative riddims. In Jamaica he honed his craft and built invaluable industry experience, forming an alliance with Kevin “Iceberg Records” Blake in Mona Heights, Kingston. The studio quickly became a creative hub, releasing a string of hit records including the globally recognized “Rose Apple” and “Essence” Riddims. The Rose Apple riddim was sent directly to Robbo Ranx to play on his BBC 1Xtra show in 2005, which made the riddim gain momentum globally and the production house get a lot of exposure. During this pivotal period, Jason became good friends with Jah Thunder, a talented reggae artist from Capleton's renowned David House camp who had a big song "Fire" with Capleton on the Martial Arts Riddim. Today, Jah Thunder, Capleton, Bugle, and Nello Player collectively form the core roster in many of his productions. During his early years working in Jamaica, Jason recorded many artists on his Firestorm Music label such as Vybz Kartel, Jah Mason, Tornado, Norris Man, Natural Black, Anthony B, Don Mafia, and the legendary Sugar Minott. Together Iceberg and Firestorm forged a power team for many years.
The early 2000s marked a golden era for reggae and dancehall, with studios across Jamaica buzzing and birthing timeless classics. Remarkably, just next door in the same buildling, legendary producer Don Corleon Bennett was crafting hits of his own at Vendetta Records, adding to the neighborhood’s vibrant musical legacy.
